We are proud to introduce Tha-nose! This is pheno #3 of our Pepe’s Krush line. Pepe’s Krush is the result of an unknown sativa-dominant variety crossed with an unknown indica-dominant variety ( possibly OGKB ). Both of which were bag seed given to me by a friend about a couple years ago. We started with 10 and only 7 popped. During the second run, one of the cuts hermed. I caught it pretty early so there wasn’t very many seeds. As the next run approached I was looking through my seed bank deciding on what was next . I paused and said to myself “why not run one of my own seeds?”. I grabbed one and threw it in… She was the first one of my own seeds I ever germinated which makes the story even better! 🙂 How she wound up being labeled as the #3 pheno in that line can be somewhat confusing. She started off as TS1 ( table seed #1 ) because I wasnt sure of her lineage. I didn’t care very much at the time. I eventually popped two more that I was sure about. Later investigations led me to more or less rename her. for the sake of keeping things easy, maybe? I dont know! we will find out LOL! Her vigor grabbed my attention pretty damn quickly. I had 2 nice sized cuts by week 6. Tha-nose blew just about everyone else out of the water in yield and vigor. Her magnificent colors are only out done by the pungent aroma of savory skunk up front and citrus notes on the back end! I’ve also said it almost reminds me of the smell in the air when you get close to the ocean ( salty ). Friends have descirbed it as “dogfood and thanksgiving”, “dogshit”, “beef jerky”, etc. Mind you, no salts were used or harmed in this experiment! We have stress tested this particular girl numerous times and it doesn’t seem to phase her. Hands down one of my favorites! I highly doubt she is going anywhere anytime soon. Expect strong smelling, medium-tall girls that yield well with a beautiful fade. Some of the progeny will certainly be viable in a commercial environment. Some will do good outdoors but indoors is suggested with this one as the flowering times can range from 8-11 weeks depending on expression and personal taste. |
